Accelerate Camp

Last Week The Accelerate Academy went on camp for 2 nights and 3 days. On The first day the year sevens went to ropes course and paintball. On The Bus i sat in the fount with Cheyanne and Ngati-kaari because we all get sick. Finally after the long bus ride we got off and paintball we all had to walk down a 1km steep hill.Finally when we got down the hill we saw what the high ropes looked like. About 45 mins later we got to start climbing i went onto the rickety bridge which was really scary because i don't like heights. But when i got up onto the bridge it was so fun. Everyone looked some miniature and small. The Ropes instructor said 'Kaitlyn Do a forward role' I was going to do one and all i heard was Toby saying 'I Bet You Cant Do it Kaitlyn' But You know what i did do it, it was so much fun. But then when i did the roly poly i fell of the side SHAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On The Second day of camp the year Sevens went to Waimarino which was so much fun. In The Morning we all went out kayaking and i tried to stand up but you what i fell out and Chevaaniawas so mean she wouldn't rescue me. What a sad one aye. Finally After Lunch we got to do all the activities there the first one i went on was the small diving board and then the next one up but sadly i couldn't go on the ultra high cause it was closed down So Boo Hoo But anywayt When the lady opened the blob i went and jumped off the first person i blobed was Liam i think i remember but Liam wen really really high and he landed on his head ouch but lucky for him he had a helmet on.At about 3.30 we got back into the bus and drove back to camp.That night I couldn't sleep because i had a saw arm and i was sick. On The last day the year sevens had to stay at the lodge and clean up. Keri, Sasha, Charmaine, Kelsey and I had to clean the girls toilets cause now on else would sad aye. After we cleaned the whole camp and our bags were in the vans we got free time. Everyone went all weird cause they thought someone was in the bush and stuff. But anyway camp was really fun i enjoyed it except for some little bits spoiled it.

My Friend Chevaania

Well what can i say about my friend Chevaania.Shes weird and cool in her own way.Shes the person you go to see if you need to talk. Her and I have our ups and downs but we always seem to get though them. Shes the one that's loud louder then everyone oh except me. Even though where both so totally different we get along so well. Mostly every night we talk on the phone except for when where in trouble.We talk to each other on glogster and at school by the way most of the time when were supposed to be learning were actually talking!!!!!!dont tell my teacher.People think that Chevaania can be a big meany but if you get to know her shes actually really nice and a great friend.When you ask her to help you she'll never say no unless she in a grumpy mood which is mostly never. Ifs she got an opinion she;ll say it even if it doent need to be said.Sometimes it gets her into the good books and then sometimes whoops it gets her into .B.M.P. Any way Chevaanias the best friend anyone could ever want

A Family in Kuparedi Candigal is...........struggling even to keep their family alive.
While I am......typing away on my computer.
A little girl is.......slaving over a curtain making machine so that we can have curtains in our own house.
They.....deserve a good education.
They.....need a good education.
They....need to fight.
Their future.....
Is up to us and us only.

One Day last year i was given a piece of work by my Teacher. It was really hard and i didnt want to do it because it was so boring and none of my friends had to do it. Al that i wanted to do was draw read and ahng out with my friends. But finally when my teacher pushed me. I decided to do it even when i didnt want to but i kept at it an finally i got it done.My teacher was really happy she even gave me a bar of chocolate for being so great.

Earlier this term we started to do our Science fair. We got to pick our own groups. In my group is Chevannia Nakita and I. It took us lots of arguments until we decided what to do our science fair on. We decided to do it on Which is worse for your body chocolate or lollies? Our category was researching and pattern seeking. We brought our science fair borad which cost $7.00 but Mr Dyke said that it should off cost $2.50.
